This highly popular stencil printing course will teach you how to create beautiful botanical patterns on a ready-made cushion cover
All materials supplied.
Working with Melanie’s unique pre-made stencils inspired by the Devon & Dorset countryside, the workshop is perfect for both complete beginners and those who may have used stencils before.
The day will start by learning the fundamental techniques for achieving great stencil printing results and building the different plant shapes on practice paper.
With demonstrations, guidance and plenty of time to build your confidence during the morning, the afternoon will focus on creating your own version of this lovely cushion design.
By the end of the day you will have heaps of knowledge about techniques and tips for successful printing onto fabric, and gained the confidence to continue at home, the opportunities for projects are endless!
Stencils, paints & brushes will be available to purchase just in case you’re hooked and want to continue enjoying the process at home.
Aprons will be available on the day, but best to wear clothes you are happy to get mucky.
